    Title: 應用圖資背景研究生輪值大學圖書館參考諮詢服務台之研究

    Abstract: 在美國很多大學圖書館聘用圖資背景的研究生協助提供參考服務，而圖書資
    訊學校也會鼓勵學生到參考部門工作，以增進他們的實務經驗。許多大學圖書館
    非常樂意接受這種人力資源，而圖資所的研究生也常會在自己學校圖書館的參考
    部門找工作，希望可以從此處開始其資訊服務專業生涯。本文採用文獻分析和質
    性訪談等研究方法，探討應用圖資背景研究生輪值大學圖書館參考諮詢服務台之
    可行性，研究者最後提出五項發現，並認為此種作法對自己服務的圖書館是“雙
    贏”且“可行”的策略。
    In the U.S, many academic libraries recruit graduate assistants majoring in library and
    information science. Also, the library and information science schools encourage
    their graduate students to work as reference assistants, so that those students may start
    to cumulate practical experiences. Therefore, many academic libraries welcome
    such source of human resource; theses graduate assistants usually apply reference
    service jobs in academic libraries and expect to start their professional information
    service carrier beginning from there. This article uses literature analysis and
    qualitative interviews to explore the feasibility of using library and information
    science graduate students as the reference assistants. In conclusion, the researcher
    sums up with 5 findings, and believes this is a win-win and do-able strategy in the
    library she is serving.
