摘要:	Objective: 1) The objective of this study was to assess the willingness for paying the HPV vaccine Haiti. Specifically, we plan to examine the incremental costs and benefits of the 9-valent HPV vaccine (9vHPV) (2) To help donors and health professionals understand the current situation of cervical cancer in Haiti so they can make better decision. Methodology: Our thesis is a cross-sectional study of respondents from two hospitals and one center for cancer in Haiti. Methods included panel discussions to estimate treatment costs of CC, genital warts and vulva/vagina cancers by severity and surveys with respondents using costing and SF-36 quality of life questionnaires. On that basis, we plan to survey a convenience sample of 200 women in three clinical settings and hospitals in Port-au-Prince, Mirebalais and Delmas, Haiti. Results: Two hundred respondents participated in this study. Respondents came from State University of Haiti Hospital (50%), Haitian Society of Oncology (25%) and Partners in Health Hospital (25%). Mean age of respondents were 35 years i.e. respondents are slightly young women. Majority of the respondents obtained education up till secondary school level (45%). Other result said that the best-case scenario was when the screening coverage was increased to 68% and cost of HPV vaccination was maintained at US$ 10/dose. While the worst case scenarios was when the screening was still at status quo at 39% but the price of HPV vaccination was increased to US$20/dose. Conclusion: The number of women covered by screening must be high. Achieving high levels of coverage is a feat impossible even after nearly 30 years of women's rights advocacy and free public sector testing. Thus, vaccinating young women with DV is a more accessible target measure for long-term protection. However, the roles of governments in maintaining mass costs and product competitiveness, promoting vaccines to community leaders and the public should be encouraged.
