Despite positive evidence, psychiatrists and other doctors seldom adopt measurement-based care in their practices. In this study, we implemented PsyMeasure, a collection of digital psychological scales that are accessible on mobile devices, to bridge the gap between research and practices. We selected 38 adults who either were mentally healthy or had minor mental disorders, and we conducted an experiment in natural settings for 3 months; data were collected using our custom questionnaire. In addition, we evaluated the change in their help-seeking behaviors, view toward disease stigmas, and disease perceptions before and after the experiment. The experiment was successfully completed by 31 participants. In our study, most participants found our software to be satisfactory (78.8%) and clinically helpful (75.8%) because the software enhanced their disease perception (p = 0.031). According to our experiment, digital psychological scales are feasible for measurement-based care. We have established a promotion site for our software at https://psymeasure.net/. |
