    摘要: 本研究目的在於探討跟了解住院醫師之基本人口變項、工作價值觀與專科特質偏好之間的相關性。本研究使用結構性問卷調查方式，採立意抽樣，主要抽樣對象為北部及中部六家教學醫院，住院年資六年內的住院醫師，於民國97年11月1日至民國98年1月31日進行資料收集，共回收有效樣本120份，經實證分析獲得下列結論：
    1. 不同個人屬性變項的住院醫師其工作價值觀有顯著差異。
    2. 不同個人屬性變項的住院醫師其專科選擇有顯著差異。
    3. 住院醫師工作價值觀會影響其專科特質偏好。
    最後，本研究根據研究所得之結果，做探討並對醫務管理、醫學教育單位、住院醫師及未來研究作建議。

    The purpose of this study is to investigate and discuss the relationships of population factors, work values and speciality characteristics for the residents. This research uses cross-sectional research method and purposive sampling, the residents less than sixth year of six teaching hospitals of north and middle region were selected as the subjects, and data were collected in the period from November 1, 2008 to January 31, 2009, and then 120 copies of questionnaires were returned. This research has analyzed the empirical data and deductive these following conclusions:
    1. The different population factors of the residents have significant difference in part of work values.
    2. The different population factors of the residents have significant difference in part of speciality characteristics.
    3. The primary officers'' work values and could influence their speciality characteristics.
    Finally, the author will discuss the results based on the observation in the studies and provide a suggestion to medical management, medical education, the residents ,and researches of the future.
